THURSDAY NOV. 18, 1965 4 P.M.
This regular meeting of the Trustees was held on the above date.
In attendance were Mrs. Conrad, Miss StandIcy, Mr. Toomey, Mr. Maeser and Mr. Doherty, Mr.
Hyde is still ill.
The records of the previous meeting were accepted as read and placed on file. Finance sheets were
studied and accepted.
All reports of Librarian and Dept. Heads were read and approved.
VOTED TO ORDER 30 KRUEGER chairs from Brunette Office Co. of Salem for small meeting
room, to be paid from Trust Funds.
VOTED to purchase a dictionary stand for Young Adults Room.
A letter was read t~om Mr. Joseph Williams, Beverly Farms requesting Dun & Bradstreet for the
Reference Room. All felt for the expense it would not be used to that degree. Voted to send a letter
to Mr. Williams stating that it would be an excellent gift for the Library.
Mr. Tooracy explained about aproject "Modem Libraries" quoted from the Wall Street Journal, Nov.
1, 1965--he would like to present to the Rotary Club.
VOTED TO CLOSE Library Wed. night before Thanksgiving at 6 P.M. also Christmas and New
Years eve.
VOTED to draw up Resolutions for Miss Anitra Kline who must resign at the end of the year due
to ill health.
VOTED to make Mrs. Florence Luther, present cataloger, Asst. Librarian to start at the salary of
$111.00, one step below the maximum.
