January 16, 1964 3:30 4:00 P.M.
Prior to the regular meeting of the Trustees, the Commissioner for Repairs and the Trustees inspected
the new renovations with Mr. Bourne. Mr. Boume requested opinions and explained the financial
business. VOTED TO pay the Architect another $1500, leaving a balance of $300. Also to pay Art
Metal Co., General Contractor $11,000 of the $26,295. All Trustees were present including
Mieth Maeser who replaced Mr. Bruce Lancaster
Records were approved, Finance sheets for the year accepted and all Librarian's reports and
Circulation reports approved and placed on file.
Mr. Hyde suggested that a Heating Log he kept for the new zone heating.
Mrs. Conrad, Mr. Brown and Mr. Hyde stated that the Mayor was very considerate ofthe requested
1964 budget. The $300 balance in page money saved for needed work in the stacks will he taken care
of in new budget.
Mrs. Conrad requested a further study of Trust Funds and appointed Mr. Pierce, Chairman, with Mr.
Brown and Mr. Maeser.
Mr. Doherty explained as to the new state and federal aid. Discussion followed.
