Mr. Tooracy reported that the ceiling and walls at the Farms had been started by the City Men. The
Branch will have to be closed for a few days. Also stated was that the inside window cases are in such

Asst. to Job Group 12.
Long discussion of finance sheets and it was explained that with care we will be able to stretch the
page money to last through the end of Dec.
As time is short from November 21 Trustees' Meeting and Dec. 1, when budgets go to the City it was
VOTED to dispense with the usual Budget meeting of the Committee and present the 1964 Budget
to the Board Meeting as a whole. Alter long discussion it was VOTED that the Budget be accepted
as submitted by the Budget Committee with the right to make any necessary changes. Mr. Brown as
Chairman is to approach the Mayor with the necessary increased amounts, to present the 1964
Budget, a realistic budget--such as telephone, office supplies, janitor supplies, fuel, lights, furniture
and page money increase--all necessary because of the third floor renovation. Bookmobile increase
due to the age of the bookmobile.
