The regular meeting of the Trustees was held on this date at the Beverly Public Library. Mrs. Conrad
presided. Trustees present: Mrs. Conrad, Mrs. Bryant, Miss StandIcy, Mr. Hyde, Mr. Pierce and Mr.
Tooracy.
VOTED: To accept the minutes of the last meeting with the correction noted.
VOTED: To accept all reports
VOTED: To deposit the sum of $500 ( an unrestricted gift from the estate of Jacob Brower
in the account for the new bookmobile at the Beverly National Bank.
Mr. Toomey stated that the Public Works Department would do the ceiling and perhaps some interior
painting at the Farms. Cost of this work to be paid for from insurance received. Mrs. Conrad stated
that a new lock is being installed.
It was suggested that Miss Munroe schedule children's programs monthly during the winter months
while the auditorium is still available, money to be taken from the Trust fund set aside for this
purpose.
Mr. Hyde, chairman of the Building Commission, reported on progress and change of plans because
of lack of funds.
VOTED: That metal shelving, in a color to match the wall, be installed in the Auditorium
immediately.
The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
