At the meeting this evening, Mr. Lanphear was chosen chairman.
The Board was organized by the choice of
W. C. Boyden as President
Franklin Leach Secretary
J. D. Tuck Treasurer
Messrs. Lanphear, Giddings, & Leach Committee on purchase of books.
Messrs. Tuck, Leach & Boyden Committee on Rooms.
Miss Lizzie Baker was chosen Librarian at a salary of Two Hundred Dollars per annum.
A Draft for Five Hundred Dollars was drawn on the Selectmen, on act. of Town Appropriation.
Mr. Giddings announced to the board the reelection of Mr. J. D. Tuck for five years.
Present Messrs. Lanphear, Tuck, Giddings & Leach.
