The Board met at the usual hour the President in the chair who announced the re-election of
Mr. Win. C. Boyden for a term of five years. The Board proceeded to organize and the result of the
balloting was as follows:
Win. C. Boyden President
Franklin Leach Secretary
J. D. Tuck Treasurer
Messrs. Lanphear, Giddings & Leach as Committee on Books.
Messrs. Tuck, Boyden & Leach as committee on Rooms.
Miss Martha Smith was elected Librarian at a salary of Two hundred dollars per annum. A Draft for Five Hundred Dollars was drawn on the Selectmen.
After agreeing to build an alcove for books on Range eight and nine, the board adjourned to
May 1st.
