MEETING WITH BOARD OF ALDERMEN - JANUARY 29, 1968
On January 29, 1968 at 7:00 p.m. there was a meeting between the
Board of Health and the Board of Aldermen at City Hall.
The two Boards discussed the size of the dump, the life of the dump
(via the number of years it can be used), and other areas
pertaining to the dumping site.
Another area discussed was the garbage contracts, number of
contractors bidding, amounts bid, and the different garbage
districts.
The Board of Health also took this opportunity to discuss with the
Board of Aldermen a $1,200.00 increase for Lawler Brothers for the
rest of the contract year to cover the cost of garbage collection
in his district.
Meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
