The President announced at the meeting this evening the re-election of Mr. J. D. Tuck for five
years. The organization of the Board for the ensuing year is as follows.
Wm. C. Boyden President
Franklin Leach Secretary
J. D. Tuck Treasurer
Committee on purchase of books, Messrs. Lanphear, Giddings & Leach.
Committee on Rooms Messrs. Tuck, Boyden & Lanphear.
Miss Lizzie Baker was chosen Librarian at a Salary of Two Hundred dollars per year.
The employing of assistants to the Librarian was left to the Committee on Rooms.
A Draft was made upon the Selectmen for Five hundred Dollars it being one half of the sum
appropriated.
No other business arising, the Board adjourned to May 3d.
