At the meeting this evening the report of the Librarian and Treasurer were read and accepted.
The matter of purchasing Johnson;'s Encyclopedia was discussed fully and on motion of Mr.
Lanphear the whole matter was left with the Secretary. The list of magazines for the year was voted
as follows: Harpers, Scribner, Atlantic, two copies each, N. A. Review, Gardener' s Monthly, Cornily,
Popular Science Monthly, Temple Bar, Art Amateur, and Eclectic one copy each. Some time was
spent on the arrangements of the annual report to the two. The board then adjourned to April 6th.
