The Board met for organization. The President announced the reelection of Rev. O. T.
Lanphear, for the term of five years.
The following officers were the elected by ballot
President Wm. C. Boyden
Secretary Franklin Leach
Treasurer J. D. Tuck
Committee on the purchase of Books Messrs. Lanphear, Giddings & Leach.
Prudential Committee Messrs. Giddings, Boyden & Leach
Mr. J. D. Tuck, was chosen Librarian with a salary of Two Hundred Dollars.
A general conversation then took place, regarding the anticipated change to be made in the Library
Room and in regard to the storage of Books, while repairs were being made, without coming to any
definite result the board adjourned to May 5th.
