In the absence of the President, Mr. Lanphear was chosen to fill the chair.
On motion of Mr. Leach it was voted, to publish a list of such books as had been added to
the Library since the last publication.
The President having arrived, the Librarian presented a statement of missing books, and it was
found that during the past nine years the average loss was about seven books per year.
No other business presenting, the board adjourned to Oct. 3d.
