At the meeting of the Board this evening, Mr. Moulton alter a few appropriate remarks dosed
his connection with Board to the regret of all & introduced Mr. O. T. Lanphear as his successor. Mr.
Tuck was chosen Chairman, and Mr. Leach, Clerk. The Board then proceeded to the choice of
officers for the present year.
Mr. J. D. Tuck was chosen President, but declined the office and on subsequent ballot Mr. R. R.
Endicott was elected.
Mr. Franklin Leach was chosen Secretary.
Mr. J. D. Tuck was chosen Treasurer
Messrs. Boyden, Leach and Lanphear Committee on the purchase of Books.
Messrs. Endicott, Boyden & Leach Prudential Committee.
Mr. I. D. Tuck was chosen Librarian with Salary of $150.
Mr. Tuck reported that the Policy of Insurance in the Beverly Insurance Co. having expired in March
he had renewed the same.
On motion of Mr. Boyden it was voted that Mr. Tuck renew the Policy in the Home Insurance Co.
at its expiration.
No other business presenting the Board adjourned to May 4th 1869.
