At the meeting of the Board this evening it was voted to acknowledge in the Beverly Citizen,
the reception of Magazines from Mr. Geo. B. Pearson, and of a volume of records of the
Massachusetts Soldiers in the War of the Rebellion from F. W. Choate, Esq. Mr. W. C. Boyden
reported that he had received a letter fi'om Mr. Chas. W. McLellan stating that the flame of Miss
Quiners Portrait was at Mr. Southerland's in Salem.
Mr. Win. C. Boyden was appointed a committee to procure the printing of a number of slips of books
that have been added to the Library since the publishing of our last supplement to the Catalogue, a
nd the Librarian was directed to furnish the manuscript of the same at his earliest convenience.
It was moved by Mr. Tuck, that a copy of the Salem Naturalist for the year 1867 be presented to the
Beverly High School, the Library being in possession of more than one copy, and after a full
discussion the matter was laid on the table.
