Wednesday Nov. 7th 1866
Mr. Moulton was elected chairman.
Mr. Peirce's resignation having been received and accepted, on motion of Mr. Tuck it was Resolved.
That we learn with regret that circumstances compel the resignation of one who has so faithfully and
for so long a period, generously devoted his time to the interests of the Public Library. On motion
of Mr. Leach the Board proceeded to Ballot to fill the existing vacancy and Mr. R. R. Endicott was
chosen to fill the unexpired term of Mr. B. O. Peirce.
After some discussion regarding the purchase of Books the Board adjourned to 1st Wednesday in
December.
