Messrs. Dodge, Leach, Tuck & Peirce.
Mr. Leach was appointed to the Chair.
An application was presented verbally from the Librarian for some compensation to be made to his
assistants for services rendered in the delivery of books.
After some deliberation it was resolved that the sum of Five Dollars be allowed to the Librarian to
defray any incidental expenses he may already have incurred during the latter half of the year 1859
and that a sum equivalent to Ten dollars per year be allowed him for similar purposes hereafter.
