At the Meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library held April 1858 for organization it was
announced to the Board:
That at the Town Meeting subsequent to the presentation of the Report of the Trustees, the vacancies
occurring in the board were filled by choice of Franldin Leach to supply the place of Palmer Waters
resigned & the reelection of Charles W. Haddock for an additional term of five years.
The organization of the Board for the ensuing year was then completed by the appointment
of
Charles Haddock, President
B. O. Pierce, Secretary
R. G. Bennett, Treasurer
J. D. Tuck & F. Leach, Prudential Committee
James Hill Librarian.
B. O. Peirce & J. G. Dodge Committee on purchase of Books.
B. O. Peirce Financial Secretary
