A meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was duly held on Saturday the 31 st
day of July, 1915, at 3:30 o'clock pm.
There were present of the Trustees Miss Loring, Messrs. Driver, Bulkeley, Webber and
Baker.
The records of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Committee of Circulation recommended the purchase of 44 titles and reported the gift
of 17 titles, of which 12 were received from the Christian Science publishing house.
On motion it was
Voted:
That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation with respect to 44 titles be
adopted, and that the thanks of the Trustees be extended to those who had made gifts.
A draft of rules governing the use of the Children' s Room, was presented and on motion was
referred to the Committee on Administration with power to act.
On motion it was
Voted:
That the compensation of Miss Effie MacDonald be at the rate of $450 per year from the first
of July.
On motion it was
Voted:
That the matter of the further employment of Miss Wiggin be referred to the Committee on
Administration for report.
On motion it was
Voted:
That the matter of continuance of the deposit at North Beverly Parish House.
On motion it was
Voted to adjourn.
