1915-29-05 City of Beverly, Massachusetts Public Meeting Minutes Board: Library Trustees Subcommittee: Date: 05/29/1915 Place: Beverly Public Library Board members present: William R. Driver, Louis H. Baker, Joseph C. Kilham, Katharine P. Loring, and Elizabeth P. Sohier Board members absent: Rev. Benjamin R. Bulkeley, Charles L. Dodge, Louis D. Webber, and George E. Woodberry Others present: Recorder: Louis H. Baker A meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was duly held at the Library on Saturday the 29th day of May, 1915, at 3:30 pm. There were present of the Trustees Miss Loring, Miss Sohier, Messrs. Driver, Kilham and Baker. The records of the last meeting were read and approved. The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 93 titles, of which 73 were present, and on motion it was Voted: That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation with reference to 93 titles be adopted. The Committee on Circulation reported the gift of some 800 books by Mr. William Endicott and on motion it was Voted: That the thanks of the Board be extended to Mr. Endicott for his valuable gift to the Library. On motion it was Voted: That for the present year, Miss Smith and Miss Stanton be each granted a vacation of three weeks. On motion it was Voted to adjourn Adjourned Attest: Louis H. Baker Secretary
