A meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was duly held at the Library on
Saturday the 27th day of March 1915, at 3:30 o'clock pm.
There were present of the Trustees: Miss Loring, Miss Sohier, Messrs. Driver, Bulkeley,
Webber and Baker.
The records of the meeting of Feby. 27th and March 6th were read and approved.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 63 titles and reported the gift
of six titles: whereupon, on motion it was
Voted:
That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation be adopted with reference
to 63 titles and that the thanks of the Trustees be extended to those who have made gifts.
The Chairman announced the appointment of the following committees:
Finance Committee:
Mr. Kilham, Mr. Webber, Mr. Baker
Administration Committee:
Mr. Webber, Mr. Kilham, Miss Sohier
Circulation Committee:
Miss Loring, Mr. Bulkeley, Mr. Woodberry
Committee on Branches:
Miss Sohier, Mr. Baker, Mr. Kilham, Mr. Webber
In view of the expected return to work of Miss Jennie Dodge, the matter of the continuance of the
employment of Miss Follansbee as a substitute, was referred to Miss Loring with power to act.
On motion it was
Voted:
To accept the bid of $100 made by J. V. Porter Co. for scraping and painting the outside iron
work of the Library and that further details of the matter be referred to Mr. Webber.
On motion it was
Voted to adjourn
