The Trustees met as per adjournment. Messrs. Tuck, Woodberry, Dodge & Giddings present.
The meeting was called to order by the chairman.
The records of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Tuck reported that satisfactory arrangements had been made as to the Branch at
Centerville, securing the services of Mr. Joseph M. Standley as having charge of it. Where
compensation was to be $30.00, and the delivery of books to be on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The report was accepted and adopted.
On motion of Mr. Giddings, it was
Voted The same committee have power to make such arrangements for the delivery and distribution
as they may deem expedient.
On motion of Mr. Woodberry, it was
Voted That 500 copies be printed of such works of fiction as are not now catalogued and that this
matter be referred to the committee on catalogue.
On motion of Mr. Woodberry, it was
Voted That we subscribe for the Monthly Historical Magazine, Pub., by E. Putnam, Salem at $2.00
per Annum.
There being no further business it was voted to adjourn for two weeks to meet Sep 3d.
