1892-30-01 City of Beverly, Massachusetts Public Meeting Minutes Board: Library Trustees Subcommittee: Date: 01/30/1892 Place: Beverly Public Library Board members present: Joseph D. Tuck, Charles L. Dodge, George A. Galloupe, Edward L. Giddings, and George E. Woodberry Board members absent: Rev. Daniel D. Addison Others present: Recorder: Charles L. Dodge Beverly Jan. 30th 1892 The Trustees met this evening. Messrs. Tuck, Cxiddings, Woodberry, Galloupe and Dodge present. The meeting was called to order by the chairman. The records of the last meeting were then read and approved. The reading of the report of the Trustees as prepared by Mr. Woodberry was called for, after the reading of which On motion of Mr. Giddings, it was Voted that it be accepted, adopted, and placed in the hands of the Town Clerk to be incorporated in the annual Town report. The report of the Librarian was then read, On motion of Mr. Galloupe, it was Voted That the Librarian's report be accepted, adopted and placed on file, and that it also be embodied as a part of the above and primed in the Town report. On motion of Mr. Tuck it was Voted That a card be prepared for the use of the teachers in the High and Granunar Schools, and that they be allowed to take out books not exceeding ten in number, to be used in said schools, each teacher to be held accountable for their proper use and return, and that the Librarian or Secretary mail a card to said teachers as specified above, to be signed and registered.
