The Trustees held a special meeting this evening.
Messrs. Tuck, Butler and Dodge present. The purpose of the meeting was to make choice of
a librarian for the Beverly Farms Branch having received communication from Miss Susie and Sylvia
Bennett.
On motion of Mr. Butler, it was
Voted That we engage Miss Sylvia Bennett as librarian at a salary of 175.00 a year, and that the
secretary be requested to inform Miss Bennett of the decision.
It was decided that the Beverly Farms Branch should be open each week day and
evening from 3 to 6 and from 7 to 9 P.M.
On motion of Mr. Dodge, it was
Voted That Mr. Frank W. Bill be engaged to transport the boxes containing books from the main
library four times per week at the rate of $75.00 per year.
There being no further business the meeting was dissolved.
