The Trustees met as per adjournment and the meeting was called to order by the chairman. The Secy
being absent Mr. Galloupe was appointed Seey. pro tem.
On motion of Mr. Giddings, it was
Voted that the books submitted to the trustees by Mr. Allen for their consideration were not needed
and that they be returned.
On motion of Mr. Addison, it was
Voted the new books as soon as ready for delivery shall be placed upon the counter for the inspection
of the patrons of the library, and so much of the grill work as interferes with this plan shall
be removed.
The committee to whom was referred the question of establishing a branch at Centerville
reported inexpedient to grant the request and their report was accepted.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned till Sep 26th.
