THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15, 1960
The regular meeting of the Trustees was held at the Library on the above date with the
Chairman, Mrs. Conrad presiding. Those in attendance were Mrs. Cook, Miss StandIey, Mr.
Lancaster, Mr. Hyde, and Mr. Toomey.
The records of the previous meeting were read and approved and the Finance Sheets were
accepted. The monthly report of the Librarian and the Department Heads were approved as read.
VOTED to close Saturday morning, Dec. 24, and remain open Saturday, Dec. 31.
VOTED TO EXTEND the 8:30 P.M. closing until June 15, 1961, however during the
summer months close at 8 P.M.
VOTED to extend the probation time of Mrs. Lillian Taylor to the end of the school year so
that she can become more familiar with the work of the Children's Room.
After discussion of the non-resident's fees, Mr. Toomey stated that he would try again for a
ruling from the City Solicitor.

* The Mayor suggested that when the Budget was returned to the Library to obtain an extra assistant
a transfer from page money to permanent assistant the amount of $2600 could he requested, as he
had supplied money enough to care for pages.
