October 5, 1960 4 o'clock
A Special Meeting was called on the above date. Present were Mrs. Conrad, Miss Standley,
Mr. Brown, Mr. Lancaster, Mr. Toomey and Mayor Thomas Wickers. The reason for the meeting
was to determine where to obtain page money and staff money deficit. After long discussion the
Mayor made a very generous offer or $1000 to help the pwblem. A letter was sent to the Mayor and
Aldermen requesting $1000.
As there would still be a deficit a motion was made and SO VOTED to use what is absolutely
necessary from the Lefavour Fund to cover the deficit for the year.
