Meeting Minutes: May 2 1
Present: Messers Ward, Wood, Dram and Seanmnn and Ms Cotreau
1. Approve minutes of Previous meeting: Moved by Mr. Wood, Second by Mr. Ward Voted unanimously
Review of events since last meeting:
a. Cemetery preparations for Memorial Day reviewed
b. Fence repair in Beverly Farms complete
6. Ryan Fortin's Eagle Scout Project Status: May 9, reportedly 39 stones were righted and/or repaired.
His report to follow.
7. Mr. Dunn introduced a recousideration of a vote to determine the city' s outer burial container
standard, second by Mr. Wood:
Voted: That Outer Burial Containers for full earth burials in the City of Beverly Cemetery
System shall have a one piece domed cover.
Mr. Ward in opposition
Old Business: a. Acquisition of benches for Beverly Farms and North Beverly Cemeteries.
b. Placement of trash receptacles in the cemeteries
c. PBS directed to review city practice and policy relative to burial of indigcnts,
Specifically relative to payment of opening fees and liner costs.
