Re: Survey and layout of new expansion lots
It appears to me that Beverly cemeteries need an analysis of vacant spaces at the perimeter of each of our
three active cemeteries for suitability as burial space and any improvements required to make such space
usable as burial lots. Further, we need a survey of former roadways and carriage ways and an analysis for
suitability as burial spaces with appropriate amendments.
--- Dick McNeill, of the Department of Public Services, has roeenfiy developed a plan creating some 150 six
grave cremation lots. While neither an engineer or a surveyor, he clearly has the talent needed for this
task: He is, however, too busy to help ns, and I mention him only to illustrate that the expertise we require
need not be expensive. I would like some help thinking about how to find the talent needed for this
assignment: Retired surveyor, engineer or landscape designer7
