The regular meeting of the Board was held on May 19 at 7:30 P.M. with Mr. Rowe, Mrs.
Conrad, Mrs. Cook, Miss Standley, Mr. Zeilon and Mr. Cagan in attendance.
The records of the meeting of April 1 were read and approved, as was the statement of the
Finance Committee giving a summary of expenditures to date.
Mr. Rowe, for the Administration Committee explained the $650 for painting the window trim
would be approved and he and Mr. Brown would try to get estimates for pointing up the brick at
Central Library to present to the Mayor.
The Committee on circulation recommended the purchase of 477 books, mostly children and
31 gifts.
The report of the Librarian was read and placed on file.
