A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called on Wednesday, May 27 at 7:00 P.M.
with Mrs. Conrad, Mrs. Cook, Mr. Rowe, Mr. Birmingham, Mr. Cagan and Mr. Zeilon present.
The purpose of this meeting was to clarify the situation as to the janitorial service at the Main
Library and the Farms Branch.
It was voted: to abolish the position of janitor at the Farms Branch as it now exits.
Voted: Senior Custodian salary be increased to $3150 per year and Junior Custodian
increased to $3100 per year.
Voted: the time of the janitors shall be divided between the Main Library and Farms Branch
as may be directed by the Head of the Committee on Administration
