Beverly, October 30,1952
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called for Thursday evening, October 30,
but since only two members Mr. Delaney and Mr. Cagan, were present, very little business could be
transacted, and that subject to ratification at the next meeting of the Board.
The records of the September meeting were read and approved, and copies of the report of
the Finance Committee were taken by the men.
A letter was received from Mrs. Horace Elliott at Centerville stating that she would give up
the Deposit of books which had circulated from her home for so many years, and requesting that
books and bookcase be called for on November 10.
Miss Stanton suggested that Mrs. Conrad, as Secretary, write a note of appreciation for Mrs.
Elliott's years of service. This was approved.
It was decided to hold the next regular meeting on November 20m, the Finance Committee
having met before that date to prepare the budget for 1953.
Adjourned.
