Beverly, November 24, 1931
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Tuesday, November
24th, at 4 P.M.
There were present of the Trustees Miss Loring, and Messrs. Porter, Rowe, Cronin, Delm~ey,
Small, and Pond.
The records of the meeting of October 29th were read and approved.
Mr. Small then presented the report of the Finance Committee for the month of November.
Voted: that this report be approved.
The report of the Librarian, giving details of library activities during November, and
especially during Children's Book Week, was read and placed on file.
The Circulation Committee recommended the purchase of 131 new titles and the acceptance
of 15 gifts.
Voted: that this recommendation be approved.
Voted: that the report, as prepared by Miss Loring, be adopted as the Annual Report of the
Trustees for 1931.
Voted: that the list of newspapers, recommended by the Committee on Circulation be
subscribed to for 1932 - this being the same list as subscribed to for 1931.
Voted: that the Finance Committee be authorized to prepare a budget of expenses for 1932
to be presented for consideration by the Board at its next meeting.
Voted: to adjourn
