Small Others present: Recorder: Marjorie H. Stanton Beverly, October 29, 1931 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, October 291h, at 4 P.M. There were present of the Trustees Miss Loring, and Messrs. Delaney, Cronin, and Pond. The records of the meeting of September 24 were read and approved. In the absence of Mr. Small, the Secretary presented the statement of the Finance Committee for the month of October. Voted: that this report be approved. The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 269 titles, mainly children's books, and the receipt of 146 gifts - 78 for the main library and 68 for the Farms Branch. This recommendation was approved. It was voted that the estimate of $263.90 for the magazine list for 1932, made by the F. W. Faxon Co. of Boston, be approved. The contract, accordingly, was awarded to this company without further call for bids. The Committee on Administration made further informal report on repairs completed and under way, both at the Main Library and at the Farms Branch. Voted: that the Annual Report of the Trustees be prepared by Miss Loring. Voted: to adjourn Marjorie H. Stanton Secretary
