1918-26-02 City of Beverly, Massachusetts Public Meeting Minutes Board: Library Trustees Subcommittee: Date: 02/26/1918 Place: City Hall Board members present: Charles H. Henderson, Katharine P. Loring, Louis D. Webber, and Margaret Whitney Board members absent: William R. Driver, Lawrence A. Ford, Joseph C. Kilham, Elizabeth P. Sohier, and George E. Woodberry Others present: Recorder: Louis D. Webber A meeting of the Trustees of the Bev. Public Library was duly held in the Planning Board room at City Hall Tuesday, Feb. 26, 1918. Owing to the absence of Mr. Driver, Mr. Henderson was chosen chairman pro tem. There were present Miss Whitney, Miss Loring, Messrs. Henderson and Webber. The following communication was received from Mr. Robert M. Mahoney of Salem, Mass. In the interest of Mrs. Frances P. Lefavour was accepted and the recommendations adopted. CERTIFICATE OF VOTE At a meeting of the trustees of the Bev. Public Library held at Beverly on the Twenty six day of Feb. A.D. 1918, a quorum being present, on motion it was VOTED: - That the Trustees assent to the Probate Petition for the appointment without sureties of George A. Vickery as one of the trustees under the will of Joseph W. Lefavour, late of Beverly, Massachusetts, deceased, to act jointly with L. Frances P. Lefavour and without requiring a new inventory, and that the treasurer of the corporation be and hereby is directed to execute a written assent to said petition in the corporate name and behalf.
