A meeting of the Trustees of the Public Library was held at the Library Sat. Sept. 29th at 3:30
o'clock.
There were present of the Trustees Miss Whitney, Mr. Driver, Mr. Kilham, Mr. Woodberry &
Webber.
The records of the previous meetings were read and approved.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 60 titles and reported the receipt of 18
titles as gifts from Mrs. Quincy Shaw whereupon it was
Voted The recommendation of the Committee with respect to 60 titles be adopted and the thanks of
the Trustees be extended Mrs. Shaw for the 18 gifts.
Voted Miss Loring be a committee of one to purchase a U.S. flag for use on Library building.
Voted To give Janitor two weeks vacation with salary and employ Mr. Hoover as substitute in his
absence at same pay.
