A meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was held at the Library Sat. The 29th day
of Apr. 1917 at 3:30 o'clock.
There were present of the Trustees Miss Loring, Miss Sohier, Messrs. Driver, Kilham,
Henderson, Woodberry & Webber.
Records of the previous meeting read and approved.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 39 titles and reported the receipt of
6 titles as gifts whereupon it was
Voted That the recommendation of the Committee with respect to 39 titles be adopted and the
thanks of the Trustees be extended to those who made gifts.
Voted the matter of acceptance of several French Books be referred to the Committee on
Circulation.
The Finance Committee report for the month of Apr. was read and approved.
The request of Mr. Arthur Larcom for an extension of one month leave of absent was granted.
The Board organized for the year 1917 with the following choice of officers.
Mr. Driver as chairman
