Meeting opened at 5:30 PM with assessors Peter Caron. and Robert Marshall well as
assistant assessor Thomas Acciavatti present.
Voted to abate 25 unpaid FY1999 preliminary personal property tax bills, totaling $2,133.02
under the provisions of Section 57C of Chapter 59. In each case the account was determined
to be out of business as of the January 1, 1998, assessment date. Therefore, none of these
accounts are to receive actual FY1999 assessments.
Voted to abate under the provisions of Section 57C of Chapter 59 the unpaid FY1999
preliminary personal property tax bill in the amount of $96.70, assessed to PareIll Optical
Corp. (Acct. #00942). The organization was a new manufacturer as of the January 1, 1998,
assessment date; as a result, it possessed no taxable property and would not be subject to a
FY1999 tax.
Voted to abate the following taxes under the, provisions of Section 59 of Chapter 59 as final
settlement of outstanding ATB appeals filed by Windsor Courts for property located on
Brimball Avenue (Parcel #0056-0021), and assessed to Windsor Courts at Beverly.
