The meeting was called to order by the president and proceeded to ballot for officers for the
ensuing year.
Mr. Wm. C. Boyden was chosen President
Mr. Franklin Leach was chosen Secretary
Mr. Joseph D. Tuck was chosen Treasurer.
Messrs. Giddings, Driver and Leach Committee on the purchasing of books.
Messrs. Tuck, Leach & Boyden Committee on Rooms
Miss Martha P. Smith was chosen Librarian with a salary of Two Hundred twenty five dollars per
annum.
The President announced to the board the re-election of Mr. Franklin Leach for five years and of Mr.
Wm. R. Driver for three years.
Some discussion took place regarding establishment of branches of the Library, but no vote was taken
on the matter.
Adjourned to Wednesday 21st April.
