Beverly January 21st 1899
A Special Meeting of the Trustees was held on the above date.
Present Messrs. Driver, Giddings, Bulkeley and Dodge.
The meeting was called to order by the chairman.
The business of the meeting was to consider the annual report of the Trustees.
The report of the Trustees was then read, also a financial statement by the chairman giving
the Expenditures for the year 1898, together with the Librarian's report.
On motion of Mr. Bulkeley, it was
Voted that they be accepted and adopted.
On motion ov Mr. Giddings, it was
Voted That the chairman be authorized to sign the report for the board, and that the secretary be
instructed to transmit the report to His Honor the Mayor and City Council.
Mr. Bulkeley on behaif ofthe committee on circulation presented a list of books for purchase
which was accepted.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
