The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Miss Loring, Miss Sohier and Messrs. Driver, Bulkeley, Kilham, Webber & Dodge
The records of the last meeting were read and approved.
Voted That the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 83 titles present, be accepted
and adopted.
Voted That the committee on circulation be empowered to purchase such books for Dec. as they
consider necessary, without further action of the board.
Voted That the Chairman Mr. Driver and Miss Loring be a committee to prepare the annual report.
A communication was received from the Lothrop Club with reference to establishing a children's
reading room.
The following response was returned.
That the Board has heard with grateful interest the proposal of the Lothrop Club looking toward a
children's reading room and will cordially co-operate with the Club in the effort to establish such a
room
Voted That the committee on circulation be authorized to supply in its discretion suitable books for
the use of a children's room when such a room is prepared to use them
