Voted to request authority from the Commissioner under Section 8 of Chapter 58 to abate
$19,365.17 in FY1997 unpaid taxes and 'g19,848.55 in FY1998 unpaid taxes assessed to Health
and Education Services for property located at 131 Rantoul Street (Parcel #0005-1701). The
organization qualified and used the property for charitable purposes as of the pertinent
qualification date under Section 5 of Chapter 59, and had timely made all statutory filings.
Therefore, the property should have been 31assified as exempt for the years in question.
Voted to request authority from the Commissioner under Section 8 of Chapter 58 to abate certain
1~'1997 unpaid taxes and FY1998 unpaid taxes assessed to Montserrat College of Art, Inc. for
three properties located in Beverly. The organization qualified as charitable and used the
properties for educational purposes (dormitories) as of the pertinent qualification date under
Section 5 of Chapter 59, and had timely made all statutory filings. Therefore, the properties
should have been classified as exempt for the years in question_The amounts requested are as
follows:
