June 25, 1998
Meeting opened at 5:30 PM with assessors Peter Caron and John Moonman, as well as
assistant assessor Thomas Acciavatti present. Voted to have Peter Caron serve as acting
secretary.
Re-appointed Thomas Accia\'atti as an assistant assessor for a term to expire July 1,
1999.
Voted to abate FY1998 real estate taxes in the amount of $1,936.09 ($72,540 of value) on
property assessed to Bertram Glovsky, Trustee, located at 188-194 Cabot Street (Parcel
#0011-0222). Said abatement represents a final settlement of this appeal.
Voted to abate under the provisions of Section 59 of Chapter 59 FY1998 real estate taxes
in the amount of $215.20 ($13,130 of value) on property assessed to Marie E. Francoise,
Trustee, located at 14 Lovett Street (Parcel #0005-0274). Said abatement represents a
final settlement of this appeal
Voted to abate under the provisions of Section 72A of Chapter 59 FY1997 real estate
taxes assessed to Douglas E. Gerry in the amount of $988.22 on property located at 1
Water Street (Parcel #0001-0084), and $22,030.10 on property also located at 1 Water
Street, (Parcel #0001-0085). The City acquired title to the properties on June 28, 1996
Meeting adjoumed 5:45 PM.
