Board of Assessors
June 18, 1998
Meeting opened at 5:30 PM with assessors Peter Caron and Robert Marshall, as well as
assistant assessor Thomas Acciavatti present.
Due to recent appoint of Peter Caron to the Board, motion was made to reorganize the
Board, Board voted to elect Peter Caron as chairman and Robert Marshall as secretary.
Voted to deny application of Beverly Farms Improvement Society for exemption for
FY1999 of real property located at 29 West Street (Parcel #0037-0025) under the
provisions of clause third of Section 5, Chapter 59. According to the applicant's
application, no portion of the property is occupied by the organization or others for
charitable purposes.
Discussed revaluation strategy for FY1999, including possible contracting with vendors
for revaluation services.
Meeting adjourned 7:00 PM.
