Beverly March 6th 1897
The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees was held this afternoon at 4 o'clock.
Messrs. Driver, Tuck, Giddings, Baker, Bennett and Dodge present.
The records of the last meeting were read and approved.
The subject of compensation of Librarian and assistant was taken from the table and again
postponed for a fuller attendance.
The question of adding more insurance was considered, and on motion of Mr. Giddings it was
voted, that Mr. Bennett be authorized to add $5000 more, a portion of which to be specifically on
the card cataloge and cabinet, making the total amount $12,500.
On motion of Mr. Giddings, it was Voted That the request of Mr. Safford to procure a
periodical called the Pedagogical Magazine be laid over till the next meeting
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
