Beverly April 4, 1896
The regular meeting of the trustees was held this evening. Present Messrs. Tuck, Dodge, Driver and Baker present.
The meeting was duly called to order by the President Mr. Tuck.
The records of eh the previous meeting were read and approved.
On motion of Mr. Baker, it was
Voted That the time for which books to taken out by teachers for use in the schools be limited to two
weeks, subject to renewal, unless called for by other parties.
On motion of Mr. Driver, it was
Voted That the sanction of one Trustee be sufficient to permit books of reference to be taken form
the Library.
On motion of the Secretary, it was
Voted That the time for closing the library in order to re-arrange and examine the books, etc. be the
first weeks in July, reopening July 15.
On motion of Mr. Driver, it was
Voted That the book plate be retained as it now is.
On motion of the secretary, it was
Voted That Mr. Driver be a committee to ascertain price of the New England Business and Boston
directory.
There being no further business the meeting was adjoumed.
