The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Misses Loring and Sohier Messrs. Driver, Kilham, Bulkeley, Webber and Dodge.
The record of the last meeting was read and approved.
Voted To accept the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 30 titles present.
The committee on branches reported contemplated changes at the North Beverly Branch, viz.
The establishment of a reading room in the Parish House to be supplied with such reading
matter as they may consider expedient, continuing the present deposit station.
The cost of maintenance was thought would require $50.00 and this sum was appropriated.
This matter was then referred to the committee on branches to be reported upon at the
December meeting. No report.
Voted That the matter of compensation for the substitute at the Farms Branch while Miss Culbert
is away, was referred to Miss Loring for adjustment.
Voted To purchase a Dictionary and Encyclopedia for the North Beverly Branch, referred to the
committee on circulation.
Voted That Miss Loring be authorized to purchase table for the use of the Librarian.
