A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held this day at 3:30 P.M.
There were present, Miss Sohier, Miss Loring, Messrs. Driver, Bulkeley, Webber and
Woodberry.
In the absence of the Secretary, the chairman read the records of the meeting of August 31 st
An estimate of the amount necessary for the operation of the Library for the coming year was
presented to the Board and approved for submission to the Mayor of the City.
Mr. Webber moved that the matter of the supply of magazines be referred to the committee
on circulation.
It was voted that the committee on circulation be authorized to expend not to exceed forty
dollars in the purchase of Scandinavian books.
The Committee on Circulation reported the purchase of twenty titles, present and fifteen titles
to come.
