The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Misses Loring and Sohier, Messrs. Driver, Woodberry, Bulkeley, Webber and
Dodge.
The record of the last meeting read and approved.
Voted To accept the report of the committee on circulation with reference to the motion offered by
Miss Sohier at the May meeting.
The portions of the report which will be found on following pages and embraced in
Para's I, II, III, V, & VI & VII were adopted and Para IIII was postponed for further action.
Para's VIII & IX were referred to the Finance committee.
A petition signed by the three assistants at the main library asking for increased
compensation but which was not presented to the board will also be found on succeeding
pages.
Voted To accept with the thanks of the Board Ten volumes of the 20th Century Biographical
Dictionary of Notable Americans. Presented by Robert H. Bancroft, Esq.
Voted To accept the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 23 titles present.
