The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Misses Loring, Miss Soblet, Messrs. Driver, Bulkeley, Kitham, and Dodge.
The records of the last meeting read and approve&
Voted To accept the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 27 titles present.
Voted To accept with thanks five books presented by Miss Loring.
Voted That Miss Loring have power to purchase the list of Italian books recommended by the Mass.
Library Club.
Voted That the committee on circulation have authority to subscribe for the index to annual current
events.
Miss Sohier offered the following motion which was accepted and referred to the committee on
circulation.
That the committee on circulation consider whether it will be necessary for the best interests of the
library in the new building to employ a trained librarian & if so whether it is advisable to take any
steps at the present time to prepare for such an appointment & report at the next meeting together
with any other recommendations which seem expedient.
Voted That one of the assistants be permitted to attend the meeting of the Mass. Librarians
Association June 6th and 7th at Springfield, Mass.
