Benjamin R. Bulkeley, Charles L. Dodge, Joseph C. Kilham, Katharine P. Loring, Louis D. Webber, and George E. Woodberry Board members absent: Allen H. Bennett, and Elizabeth P. Sohier Others present: Recorder: Charles L. Dodge Beverly Sep 30th 1911 The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date. Present Miss Loring, Messrs. Driver, Kilham, Woodberry, Bulkeley, Webber and Dodge. Records of the last meeting read and approved. Voted To accept the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 14 titles present. Voted The list of magazines for 1912 be left with the committee on circulation. Voted To accept the report of Miss Loring on a matter referred to her as a committee of one on July 29th 1911, with reference to vacations, sickness, and other allowances for the Librarian and assistants, viz. That Misses Smith, Stanton and Ethel Dodge be granted three day leave of absence on account of extra labor preformed during the season. And that the Librarian and assistant librarians shall be entitled each year to two weeks vacation with pay, also two weeks sick leave with pay, if necessary. That time of vacations shall be arranged with the librarian. Mr. Webber reported that he City Finance Committee would probably grant the request of this Board for an additional appropriation of $450 to meet expenses for the balance of the year.
