The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Misses Loring and Sohier and Messrs. Driver, Kilham, Bulkeley, Webber, and
Dodge.
The records of the last meeting were read and approved.
Voted To accept the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 29 titles present with
not more than 30 to come.
Voted Not to purchase the book on "Spices and How to Know Then~."
Voted To accept and adopt the report of the finance committee in respect of the amount of salaries
to be paid, to take effect May 1st 1910. Miss Smith the librarian to receive 750.00 per year.
Miss Jennie P. Dodge, Miss Ethel S. Dodge and Miss Marjorie Stanton each $475.00 and
Miss Culbert librarian at the Farms to receive 425.00 per year aht the hours of service to be
454 per week.
Voted That Miss Smith be granted leave of absence for two weeks in addition to the usual leave of
two weeks, to attend the meeting of the American Library Association at Mackinaw,
Michigan.
Voted That from June 15th 1910 and during the months of July and August the reading rooms in the
Endicott Building be closed at six o'clock every evening except Saturday, when they shall
be open till nine o'clock. That from June 15th tO September 15th the Library be closed every
evening at Eight o'clock except Saturday. That from June 15th until October the first the
librarian and each assistant librarian have leave after six o'clock of one evening each week.
Voted That Mr. Kilham and Mr. Webber be a committee to interview the Committee on Public
Property with reference to securing the room in the read of the library for its use.
